Only “silver” fish I’ve caught on dead’s is a chub,but as u say protein is protein and any fish will hoover up the fry,maby the bream think there trout pellets as the buggers hammer them when am carping :laughs:

We had some nesting in box in garden
Noticed that the parents had stopped going and we couldn’t hear anything from box so I opened it up and there was 3 dead chicks in it,quite well advanced to with plenty of feathers,don’t know what’s happened maby a predator got the parent?

Some serious coin in boat storage,my mates just pulled his sea trooper of the big lakes water,dry dock fees next to slip have went upto £1600 a year!!!!hes moved it onto a sw Scottish water for £400 a year,I keep mine on the drive and tow to waters within 20 mile for a day or 50mile for a weekend

Bank holiday weekend so I’m on for 24hr, and I managed to get a good swim so pleased with that!got this bream about 7lb an hour ago,just hope there’s a few tench knocking about,fishing till 10am tomorrow so fingers crossed

Brilliant fishing lads :thumbs: I went last night for the evening,really quiet apart from a bream about 5lb just on dark,i always prefer early mornings or an overnighter but just can’t find the time yet

Not much difference between a fawn and a lamb,I know a farmer had 4 lambs attacked by foxes this winter,3 where killed and the other in a mess when found and had to be put down,
The gamekeeper has heat seaking gear on his rifle and does shoot plenty but there’s always more to take there place

Good to see one from north of the border,probably pisses people off who live up north with us soft southerners talking of six and seven pounders as everyday catches, hats off to anybody catching tench that far north allreadt👍 4lb is average up here.
