Being printed later this year.

First 100 are numbered at normal price … I ordered one and think they still have
some left if anybody interested.

Re: Bluetits fledged today

Blue t*ts have nested in a tiny hole in our building at work for several years now.
Just over the car park so expect cute bundles of fluff to be landing on people's cars any time soon.

Now received my copy and really pleased with it.
Been critical of LEP in the past but they've excelled themselves here ..... beautifully produced book.

He said on his facebook page that they were back from the publishers on 8 March.
Assume he's posting them out now ... not had my copy either if that's any consolation.

End of the line by Tony Miles

Now available to pre order ... gone for the special edition ... don't think these will hang around long.
Bit of an emotional book as I love his writing and met him at a few shows and always came across
as a decent bloke . Still coming to terms with the fact that he is no longer with us.

Well this book has helped me catch 3+lb perch from lake and river.
It's a brilliant book and if you won't pay the going rate for the book that's your problem.

Re: Royalty Days

Really enjoyed this book..... the Warrens could catch fish ! Never fished the Hampshire Avon before but has made me want to. Saw Terry Theobald on his facebook page went down to the book launch. Later in the afternoon he trotted some maggots on the Royalty and snared a 7lb 8oz chub ! Obviously still...

Re: Royalty Days

Apparently there is a book signing event for this book next Saturday at the royalty Rod Museum. Can't say I'll be bothering ... a 360 mile one day round trip on a freezing January day where the petrol cost will exceed the cost of the book does not sound appealing. Just a heads up if anyone on the fo...

Agreed a brush with Avon is a lovely book.
Avon days and Stour ways by Kevin Crozier is a cracking read as well.
As you say both in demand and rightly so

Seems to me just a random series of articles from the Society's Barbel Fisher magazine
put together in a book. There are some very good chapters though.
Not a patch on the perch fishers second book .

Royalty Days

Looks an interesting one. I've ordered and paid for a copy. LEP are only printing 250 copies . ( Until it sells out of course ... then should imagine they'll print some more !! ) The stuff on the legendary Bill and Sonny Warren should be a fascinating read though. ( the Terry Lampard's of the day )....

Not read the Chris Ball book, only what I've been told , but probably like you Si bought the Amies book when he launched it at the PAC convention a few years back. The Amies book is on a different level though I can't imagine this carp book could possibly be as bad as that. Funny thing is the Amies ...

Historical carp waters by Chris Ball

Another gem from the Little Egret Press stable apparently. I did not buy a copy as I have the author's first book. My mate bought a copy and said the Redmire chapter was basically just a rehash of the chapter in the first book and he struggled to find a page where there was not a spelling mistake on...

Re: Reflections Chris Turnbull

The thing I like about his writing in particular is that he doesn't seem a slave to any particular method ... if one method isn't working he seems quick to recognise this and switch to a more effective method or if he deems the swim itself is the problem he has no problem in moving swim ... as Jason...

Re: Border terriers

We had a border bitch and she lived to the ripe old age of 19 years !!
Lovely dog who used to eat her food at a ridiculous speed and had a vice like grip.
Not scared of any other dog whatever the size .. the only thing that phased her
were fireworks when she used to hide behind the sofa quivering.
