Re: Painting a boat

I will be interested in the replies to this one my boats in need of a paint job too but seems to be peeling in patches which come off clean but solid in other spots. Did mine this time last year Fergie, I'm certainly no professional painter bud as it's more than a little flaky in certain areas now....

Re: CRT zander removal

Seen something on jokebook about the CRT are intending to remove zander from canals (to please the matchmen) I've been doing a quiet little bit on the Midland Canals each season for about 5 years now Kev and I've yet to see a single matchman or even a pleasure angler with a Roach Pole. I've met one...

We are both on Win10, me and "Fentiger", he's on laptop, I'm on desktop and there's this massive lag, only since the update here (in full editor). Mine seems to be sorted now Alan. Smileys on the bottom instead of down the side and everything seems to be as it was before the changes.

Re: Poll - what issues are you having with the forum

On the proper reply now - with lag issues.

I wondered if it could be caused by the page loading (stacks of emoji's etc) but that doesn't seem to be the case.

At the moment, my typing is about 5 words ahead of what is being displayed - a chisel and a slate would be less annoying. :laughs:

Certainly no disgrace for loosing to City this year  Surely there is a lot of disgrace Alan, when the defending champions have visibly given up before the starting whistle even blows , when instead of playing a game of football, they are only concerned with ensuring they lose 1 nil rather tha...

Re: Fen zander

I'd suppose it might be worthwhile looking at what/who's eating them? It's a sh1tter we know, but they are faced with quite a few more predators these days. To talk water, I fished the Fens pretty regularly between 1995 - 2011 and the biggest difference I noticed in the waterways during the latter y...

Every lure has its day I suppose but in the depths of winter, I'd tend to opt for a soft-plastic lure that can be fished very slow and close to the bottom.
