Andy are you tilting your motor when at anchor? On a wast river with the wind in the same direction as the flow my 14 ft sea nympth has very little swing. hardly ever need a back anchor

Monts excuse my dimness but i'm not aware of who exactly you are. i'd like to put a name to that monster eel. by the way dave kelbrick nearly had one at Deggy estimated 6lb.

Or you could just buy a salmo slider for 1/3 of the price and it'll work straight out of the box. You can just cast and retrieve, troll it or pause and jerk it. You could, but it won't do what a Burt will. What, catch fish? :grin: you need at least three lures in a lure box............................

Smallest boat I've ever had a 20lb pike in was an 8 foot inflatable. Gave up trying to get a pic and put it back! I must have been mad to go on the Thurne in it!

Would anyone who spots a dead barbel on the Trent please log it here. time location size and number seen at site. i had a look this morning at Gainsborough. Admittedly the nearest regularly barbel fished stretch is at Marton 4 miles upstream so the fact that I noted more vodka bottles than barbel me...

yes you get the same thing on conventional sonar the longer it stays in the beam the bigger it looks. I might just start saving for one of the Solix units got to be a help on sparsely populated waters. we are going to sell them from the shop as well.

I cant remember if a Jake or Grandma is made in two halves and glued together. We had one that wasn't glued properly! No reason you cant stick a tail on but there will be do recess for the tail as there is on proper tailed lures.
