owdoo from ...
Sunny North Warwickshire ... well, it was last year. I packed up fishing about 35 years ago and retired 3 years ago and decided to take it up again. Mainly my local Canal (Its about a mile from my house) and a few lures including a few flies. Luckily we have a bit of free fishing round here so I've branched out in to other stuff thats not so toothy. But my mate has got me more interested so looking to try a few venues further afield.
Cheers

Welcome aboard.
My old stomping ground, Nuneaton and the surrounding canals is where I cut my teeth, lived there from 76-85.
I really miss the canal fishing around the area.

I'm lucky that Tusses (they organise a great Lure contest which I guess all you guys will know about) they have the rights from Hartshill all the way back to the Juction on the Coventry Canal and All the Ashby Canal which pretty well covers me. then we have the river just down the road and a few council owned lakes with a good mixed bag in.
if ever you're back home you'll have to give me a shout and I'll lend you a rod to have a chuck

The turning bay where the canals met got a lot of attention too, it held everything. It produced a few decent carp (if that's your bag) before I returned to my home town.
I fished all of the stretches around Bulkington, Beduff', Burton Hastings etc. Never had a club book and was too naive to think I needed one, nor was I ever asked for one!
I spent my youth in Whitestone and my later return not far from Hartshill, Stockingford!
