Hello all
Just joined the forum and hoping to get back into my Pike fishing this autumn.
I've been spoilt really as I used to fish around the Midlands and fished quite a few Lochs around Scotland, but now living in the far South West of Cornwall I'm very limited on venues unfortunately.
Been perusing around the site and it is great. It's quite surprising how many tweaks there have been to tackle and techniques since I was last Pike fishing.
Well once again hello all and tight lines.
Ian (Brummie Exile)

Hello Ian,
Welcome to the site...and the gorgeous SW! There are a few nice waters for pike in Cornwall too, although not many and not hugely stocked - the biggest I have heard of are up to early 20's. Feel free to drop me a PM if you want some more info.
But, as others have said, the fishing is off the scale, generally speaking! Great sea fishing of all types, but also some lovely fast flowing trout and sea trout rivers (with the odd salmon as well!) ;)

I think I'm going to start off with the SW Water reservoirs this autumn and take it from there, it's just unfortunate that there is not an all year round Pike water without going into Devon.
