Hello every one did not know this site excisted,only found out when I emailed a freind Alias The Piker to find out where the old forum was some of you might remember me as Big Al pac 2,but now Im straight forward Alby.

Have been out of touch with pike fishing for the last 8 months but now needeing to kick start it again and hey that guy what do you call him sluice Ben why did you not let me know you started a forum ,good on yeh lad hope you r still getting pleasure from boating im still not fixed up yet.

I've not been out as much as I would have liked Al but I've been busy becoming single, moving house and loads of s**t on at work.

I've also been doing some fettling here and there, consequently there are a few jobs that need doing. Got a new Echo (10" Lowrance Colour), DownEast Trolling rests, Driftmaster standard rests, Minn Kota 80lb Thrust Leccy Motor, the list goes on and on!!

As for the old forum, where do I start, here's a quick summary....

• Savage gear sponsor the P&P mag
• Their gear got slagged
• Savage Gear complained
• People got banned
• Loads of other political s**t happened
• Magazine/Forum owners behaved like arseholes and treated everyone like children
• More people got banned (inc. Grant)
• I got p****d off, had a play around, set this up pretty quickly with very low cost
• Everyone moved over here
• People swore a lot after being let off the leash (you can say c**t, t**t, s**t and f**k on here (in the right context) without being banned)
• New forum settled down nicely
• Old forum became a ghost town
• Old forum closed on 31st October
• Long live The Pit

Think that sums it up....oh yeah, and the smilies are better on here as well

Going for the steel today to make the frame for the Gates this weekend,then once I get the these money people of me back will be looking for new boat.

no ben it was a sea chart seperate for all sonars never gave it a thought, but then when i was sorting through some gear and Grant mentioned he had purchased it and I whent into marine fish I offerd it to Grant Free of charge ot for gain I might say, but Im sure Grant will give you a Kiss to make up for it

I intended to start doing some sea fishing thats why I still had the map and it was no good for you on the inland lakes, so if I can stop the cue of b******s taking money from me a will get another boat and do some sea fishing
