Had a few years away from fishing but started up again a couple of months ago.
Like to fish for most species but with the time of year, I've been mostly piking so far. Had a few from a local water but nowt big.

Re: Back on the bank
Wow is it really 3 and a half years since I 'came back'!
A lot has happened in the intervening time, including the end of a long term relationship, the beginning of a new one, getting married and moving to a new area, so I've only been fishing a handful of times and didn't even have a licence for the last year or so.
Went to The Big One at Stoneleigh, which was a poor shadow of the proper angling shows they used to put on at the NEC, and had almost no predator interest at all (there was a perch talk but on the Sunday and I was there on Saturday !), but it did get the juices flowing a bit, and licence is now purchased, just need to get off my a**e and get the rods out the shed now!
