Thank you for allowing me to register on the web site and forum.

I read with some sadness, the passing of Bob Church earlier this week.
I have fond memories of fishing with Bob when I was in my teens. My Dad (Ray Clay) and him were good friends and were members of the then legendary Northampton Specimen Anglers Club.
In the late 60’s, the group used to meet in the Sunnyside Hotel where my parents were the licensees.
I was fortunate enough to recall Fred Wagstaffe, Bob Reynolds, Frank Wright, etc., all being group members at this time.

This is not a name dropping post, but just memories of familiar names in the Angling World, most of whom have now passed away.

Commiserations to Bob’s family and thank’s to these bygone anglers for being an inspiration to many of us over the years.
