Hello everybody,
My name is Chris and I live in Weymouth, Dorset. I am a born again pike angler. I am looking for gravel pit or reservoir venues. I have been refurbishing my old bite detectors including a pair of Herons dating back to the 1960s so much simpler that todays detectors. I do have 2 Delkims as well, they are Mk1 though! Thanks. Tight lines.

I have had the Herons since boyhood. They have lain idle for many years and I found them by chance. The boxes have long gone. I have modified them with a 3 cell AA battery holder and a PP3 connector. The original connectors were corroded and unusable. The bulbs and buzzers still work well. Best thing is they were NOT made in China!
