Hello from Derbyshire

Post by SteveDerby »

Hi have just taken early retirement and have just started getting back into angling after a 30 odd year break so I am a bit behind the times !

I never really got into pike fishing before apart from a trip to [redacted] in Cambridgeshire where I caught my one and only pike at 7lbs

Hope to catch a few more and up my PB

I no doubt will be seeking some advice from the resident wise heads

Cheers Steve

Thanks for the welcome John and John

Be interested to know where you fish John Milford although I guess you can’t name specific venues on the forum?

Is your user name a clue to where you live?

Unfortunately I've never had memberships of either of those clubs Steve. We are spoilt for choice regards waters locally, although not necessarily for pike.

Very true I have tried a couple of days lure fishing on the river locally but with no success. So trying to look a bit further afield (but not too far) for some pike waters
