do you have any good pike in your part of the country

Yes we have a nice size pikes, zanders and cats, though we have rather small perch.

The legal limit for zed that you can take is 40 cm, but I think that is too small, so all under 60 cm (around 2 kg ) up to 5 kg, all above is specimen you may not take it.

To be honest I do not eat a lot of fish so I usally let them go.

steve .....it was a genuine question not a having a go , are European friends do eat coarse fish , unlike us here
