PAC Convention 2021- Feedback from the General Secretary.

i'm sure all of you that were at the PAC Convention will agree that it was a well organised and positive event. Here's what General Secretary Dick Culpin has to say;


The PAC Convention for 2021 held at Newark Showground on the 18th September was an unqualified success with almost 200 members attending. The venue was ideal as it was very accessible for all and in particular the traders who attended who had very easy access and were soon able to set their stands up. The three speakers all enjoyed great support and with three very different presentations there was plenty of opportunities for all to admire the zander fishing on the Severn, the delights of the Lake of Menteith and the magnificent surroundings at Stuart Gilhams angling retreat in Thailand. Bolt onto that the many images of monster pike from Chew Valley and it is easy to see that there was something for everyone. Thanks therefore go to John Costello, Dick Culpin and Stuart Gilham for entertaining the troops.

Clive Melhuish deserves great credit for arranging the event as do the rest of the committee and the various other members who so willingly helped out. The PAC has already committed to having the 2022 event at the same venue at a date to be agreed so watch out for further details.

The feedback from those who attended was extremely positive and we hope to follow up in 2022 with an equally appealing programme for the enjoyment of the members and indeed non members alike.
