Jaxon light lure rods ?
Just been flicking through the Internet on a boring Sunday night
Noticed these , not top end gear obviously but for around 30 notes they do several 5 to 20 g lure rods
Eastern European tackle manufacturers
Anyone any views on their stuff ?

I've not used or owned anything of theirs but Riverpiker uses a Jaxon jerkbait rod in this vid. seems pretty decent...

Re: Jaxon light lure rods ?
Ive used some of Jaxon's larger lures and they have caught fish for me.
The hooks and rings were certainly better than I expected.
I have not seen or handled any of their other tackle.

Re: Jaxon light lure rods ?
Thing is sometimes maybe it’s not best to jump in buying expensive if you’re new to pike fishing like me, first We used a old greys 9’ rod stalker, and carp rods caught pike so I decided to go for Abu promax combo, caught lots not massive but still caught pike, however the eyes lost the ceramic inserts on the end and one had a crack, braid burnt into the crack of the ceramic, so big name broke in a few months, luckily Abu replaced it, however the seller on £bay didn’t want to know, in fact made millions of excuses blaming me, saying I had no warranty, fact was I did have a warranty through Abu, and it was replaced..
I say unless uh what you can afford if beginning..

My baitcaster combo Abu promax 6’ 10-40g I think, very stiff for smaller lures, I’m using between10 15g got a 28g lure too seems a bit floppy with that though, can't half feel the difference using my sons rod set up, distance so much easier..
This Abu combo is a entry level type set up though, however it has caught me plenty of fish..

I think a lot of us fisherman are guilty of buying tackle rather than going fishing !

I have to say one of the best rods in my collection is a shimano vengeance, 8 foot , less than 35 quid , as stiff as some of my rods that cost twice the price
If you are looking for an all round spinning rod for pike , perch , bass and also a light deadbaiting rod I would look at them
