Robinson lures
Could anyone give me their opinion on Barry Robinson's lures? Anything from action to finish would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Robinson lures
I'm not a fan of the hooks and rings on the ones I've bought, way over the top imo and changing them for something lighter can bugger the action but the finish is spot on and the action with the supplied hooks is great.

You won’t find better lures in my opinion, the gliders I have have accounted for no end of fish, His painting skills are immense and you are 100% missing out if you don’t have a few, I can’t speak highly enough of his lures!

I've got an old 9ft roots that's got my Calcutta on it, excellent for my big spoons and softies. Got a Tranx a few weeks ago, paired with my Greys Supa Jerk. Apart from the all or nothing drag, I can't fault it.Cotswoldfisherman wrote: ↑Thu Aug 02 2018 20:54 -I use my bft roots with a shimano tranx, great line pick up, the sweep of the jumbo is so goodDanoutdoors wrote: ↑Thu Aug 02 2018 20:22 -That's quite the collection. They catch pike. Not much more you need to know. If you don`t catch pike then you are doing something wrong or there are no pike!

In regards action, there's little between them.

I know this post has been around for a few weeks but I couldn’t help but reply!
They are fantastic lures, the build quality is second to none and the patterns are absolute artwork! I don’t leave home without them and I’ve managed a fair few very good fish on them now. You won’t be disappointed
