Jigskinz

Post by Slug »

Been around for a while now.
Anyone got any views on them? Are they any good?
Where’s the best place to get them?

I had one large sample skin , got a couple of jerkbaits from a bargain bin in the local tackle shop .

Cut the skin in two and covered the two lures . Simple to do and only took seconds .
Next session out had a 17lber on the larger one , the only fish of the day !

I used the “Roach” version on one of my Squirrelly Burts. Had a load of fish on it up to 25-10. After a while they go tattered and you have to redo them. Small price to pay for turning a great lure into a real killer. For anyone thinking of trying them on Burts, order the large size👍

Jigskinz are great, I have used them on loads of lures, like its been said above they do get chewed up eventually but they are so simple to do you can even do them on the bank with a flask of hot water and you cant get anymore natural

Below is a demo I did for American Tackle Company at last years Efftex in Holland
