I bought some Sidewinder hard body lures and one or 2 of them don't 'move very well.
By move, I mean on the retrieve, it swim very erratically , from side to side. Yes I know it's a Sidewinder
I'm not explaining it well.
The retrieve on the 2 suspect lures is not the same as the other lures. Same design different colour . The retrieve looks and feels crap
Anyway, I think the vane is probably the cause
So I was thinking about shaving some of the edges of the vane to see how this effects the action. Use some sandpaper
Bit of an experiment
Has anyone else tried this?
Was there any benefit or am I wasting my time??
