Rapala X-Rap Scoop

Post by Duce »

Hi ,I'm quite new to lure fishing and I've been looking at the x-rap scoop lures and think they look ok. I'll be fishing from the bank and wondering how they well cast and if they're any good. Has anyone on here had any joy with them? Thanks for any advice.

Never actually seen one before, just googled it. Are they thin like a cross between normal round bodied lure and spoon?

I've not seen one only the promo videos. They do look quite thin like a sort of newer plastic remake of the normal metal spoons They're a bit curve shaped and I'm wondering if catch the wind when cast or if they cast well. And if the pike like 'em ! Might have to buy one to find out :)

I like most Rapalas....(love Max Raps) but these new Scoop lures are just a glorified spoon in a way a little like Sebile Onduspoons which can be good but at that price I will be sticking to spoons.

In fact like their weedless spoon but twice the price

Similar to the old Minnow Spoon but larger. Minnow spoons caught a lot of fish.
