Pikecraft 'the system'
Evening all,
I know most of you will make your own rigs for soft plasics, as do I! But I've been in touch with the guys at pikecraft who have patented and come up with a very good shallow screw and weight system.
You can buy similar on Ali express but it's nowhere near as good and the weights are actual lead. This is made in Germany and eco friendly.
They're also doing stingers to go with the kit aswell as other rig bits, hence the 'system'' we're going to offer it alongside our lures but wondered what your thoughts were on it? Would you use it as lure fishermen
The link is https://pikecraft.de/
It's nowt to do with me btw I've just negotiated being a UK supplier and not looking to sell to you guys tho I've got a good deal for us guys . Just seems a system that should of been created sooner!! They've also had it trademarked

Great for rigging smallish baits but do you think itβll rival Savage ears line through system ? The line through system has one huge advantage over any other rigging you may choose and that is it supports the weight of the lure until the hooks are ready to pull. Itβll take something special.........

It's just handy to chuck an extra weight on, or take it off without having to screw a belly weight in or even as an extra.

Or you could just add a tungsten fastach weight to the eyelet of your shallow screw :)

All my big softies are fitted with large corkscrews from lure factors.
Put a couple of stingers in the leader clip, add the lure, nick the stingers into the bait and just add the weight of my choosing.
I can carry as many lures as I want in a single box as there's no hooks to tangle up.

That's a similar system, used it myself. Not quite as good tho, the angled corscrew presents a better bait.
The Swedish lures (svartzonker, Ulm, eastfield) coming ready rigged with these now. By the time you cost it all up this system comes in cheaper for the range of weights.
Each to their own.....

hi,good luck with the lure systems,at least you are trying your best for fellow lure anglers,as for savage gear, aske my mate about the line through roach, which parted company with its system on an underarm cast,on its first use.you should not have to examine/test every item you buy for fear of failiure and cause possible damage to the fish we catch.

Would I use it, no.
Instead I would make my own from paperclips, split shot and scrap lead and a stinger I can make in under 1min.

I'll get some over to Ben for the raffle
I wouldn't use anything different now. Nice and tidy, well built (actually in Germany) and definitely increases lure action for the better

It looks good but think with everything else out there they are a bit late to the party.
Whether it be 7 strand SS, Single strand SS, and both the same in Titanium they'll all do the same thing in all honesty.
You know my thoughts on the fastach weights buddy so I won't go into that lol (but they are genius for speed) even on those baltic days
As you also know I'm a big fan of the stainless Steel rigs as absolutely nothing to go wrong or slip and cheap as chips lol.
