Uni Knot. For increased strength double the end of the line back and tie the knot using the doubled section.

I always go through the eye twice with braid but never double the line up. I also take care to make sure that the two wraps are side by side and not crossed over one another!

I use a 5-6 turn grinner braid to trace, never let me down.
For braid to the spool I use an Arbor knot.

Double to swivel - a catspaw. Why? Not a knot so you can undo it when you need to change.

Re: Knots heavy braid
Agree with Uni knot. Always use it for attaching braid to swivels but if you are really old, like me, it's a grinner. Braid to mono - double grinner.

Re: Knots heavy braid
So what about light lure set up as I’ve said before not been at this lure fishing long but recently bumped the swivel clip to try get better presentation by tying directly to jig head, then after using it like that for a while switched again to little loop which I confess struggle to get small loop with my big numb hands, and changing jig head bit of a faf and obviously reducing leader length every time

Twice threaded swivel and a 5 turn grinner, never had a failure ever (40kg PP)
