Fox Micro Rooter Tails

Post by Ben »

Please can someone tell me where I can get rubber tails which will fit a Fox Micro Rooter.

I lent my friend a load of lure gear 5yrs ago and heโ€™s just given it me back, there are three rooters in there minus the tails.

They are absolutely battered which has made me remember how much fun I used to have with this lure on the drains ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

They're not known for their durability, 'tis true! :laughs:

Any suitable size grub tail will suffice, Ben. https://www.agmdiscountfishing.co.uk/pr ... twintails/

Killer lures in their prime ... seen a water took apart using this when nothing else worked, but usual fox quality!

Is there anything currently on the market that is similar to the micro rooter? I know theyโ€™re effectively a Burt clone but I donโ€™t think they do a Micro size.

Surely there is a market for a properly made and robust version?

I made my own as its a pretty simple design so not testing. My paint jobs are crap compared to others but they work so don't care.
