Hi all

Is it worth buying a couple for the trout reservoir fishing??

If so which ones?

Good trolling lures. :thumbs:

The 8+ is easy to cast and retrieve, the 25+ is bit more hard work.

Only if you crank it deep. They can be retrieved very slowly at shallower depths with much less effort. :pipe:

A straight Depthraider would be my choice. With 80lb braid... cranked to about 13ft, trolled to 19ft. I'd only use crank baits to fish deeper by trolling them, for casting, swimbaits are the way to go most of the time, once the fish drop deeper.
