Hi folks, just after some advice please.
8ft spinning rod, about 1.25TC and fixed spool 4000 reel. River fishing with lures around 15grams to 40grams mostly, cranks, spinners and plastics.
Gone for a 35lb Braid, would you say this will be enough?
35lb braid for lure fishing 10-40g lures?

Plenty. I fished that weight range of lures with similar B.S braid for years without any issues whatsoever.
You could get away with slightly heavier braid on a multiplier, but with a spinning reel you're about right.

i use 35-40lb ( been on there so long ive forgotten!) to cast up to 50g and its always been fine, never cracked off and landed fish to 20+ no problem.
