Hi, bought this rod 60 - 120g, going cheap.

Ain't a clue what Reel Size etc to buy.
Also what braid to buy.
Got Baitcasting Rods which cast OK, but thought i'd like to try a Heavyish Spinning set up, see if i could get a bit more distance on stillwaters.
Cheers Bob

4000 shimano exage on my heavier spinning outfit.
5000 size penn pursuit reel would go well too I reckon.

Agree on a 4000 size. A Daiwa ninja would be my choice. Very pleased with the pair I have.

Re: Spinning Rod
Hi, will mainly use the rod while dead baiting on lakes.
Thanks for all the suggestions
Got a Exage 4000, it as a fighting drag, but should be OK.
Was considering putting a Mini Pit on the rod, might still give it a try.
If only to see what distance i can get.
