Hi guys..hardly post on here but ive sat back and watched this ebb and flow ... Grant i was with alan on both occasions when he met you first to look at the boat when we came back from a scottish trip and secondly when i accompanied him on the 400 mile round trip to collect the boat..ring any bells?..you didnt mention the fault with the outboard at all during the first visit and only mentioned it while i was rewiring the trailer board extension..alan came back to me and said youve not been straight about the sale and was gonna leave..he was quite rightly p****d off..you shouldve mentioned it before the first visit ..anyway..alan rang our regular outboard guy who explained what the fault was likely to be and after a bit of haggling you knocked off some cash for the dodgy outboard and the illegal trailer...it s brakes were seized up and disconnected and the boats come in over 750 kg so you've been towing around breaking the law.....Again it was a repair what should have been done but wasnt..the wing you fitted was laughable and the windows you fitted could've been done by stevie wonder..defo a bodged boat and s**t trailer but still worth buying if you know what your doing..Alan wasn't hurrying to pay you as you described thats bullshit and as for shipshape marine doing a bodge job.. im a exstockport lad and that guys been in business for years i cant see him not filling the gearbox properly or fitting the wrong spark plugs or cheap impellers...smacks of a bodge home service to me...
Alan put this to bed but you still keep stirring the coals but thats understandable as on first meeting you i said to alan and the other lads..'he's a wrong un'..and i stand by that.
Its a shame you won bens boat cos your gonna ruin it..folk like you should not be let near tools let alone a keyboard.
