Drennan Pikeflex 10ft 2.75lb needs a repair

A friend has given me the rod which has been damaged.

The bottom part of the top section of the rod has been damaged. The carbon has been stepped on or crunched some how.

Can this be repaired?
Does anyone want the rod?
Not sure if you can buy the top section from Drennan?

I don't need it, got far too many rods already.

Apart from the obvious damage, it's looks practically new. There is some type of oil/wax/stain on the cork handle. Haven't tried to clean it but might come out.

I live near Newbury, Berkshire very close to M4 junction 13.

Pick up only, if someone wants it for spares or repairs, it's yours

Not sure if it is still possible, but about a year ago (might be longer as judging time has become a bit weird recently) I did buy a replacement top section for this rod from Drennan, through my local tackle shop. I was a bit surprised I could still buy the section when the rod wasn't available anymore but might be worth checking this option out.

Drennan are very good for supplying sections unavailable rods. I read on another forum someone last week obtained a section directly from drennan for a series 7 Avon rod which has been out the range for quite afew years now.
Doesn’t hurt to enquire

Any repair in that part of rod is fully guaranteed....till you out of sight.
Attempted many such a repair despite telling customers it wont last ...hey ho, their money
