I think that's an old picture, the new ones they had last time I was in use a line gate(just as it sounds, it opens like a gate) not a clip
One of the few decent bits of kit Fox throw at us. They have an adjustable weight slider and I for one cannot fault them. :thumbs:

Was trying to convince my mate to buy them earlier to replace his diy ones. adjustable slider is invaluable

If ya needing some good bite indication get in touch and buy some Billy's backbiters . Weighted drop arm . As loud as ya need . And all attx compatible with 3.5mm jack fitted .

Or some Eddie Turner Classic Backbiter alarms.You'll only find them on his website.

Simple, basic, no frills (and cheap) alarms from the inventor of the original backbiter .....

Seems you don't like competition mr sheff.

Not on commission my friend,but either way,pleased you found the post so funny.(but he who laughs last laughs loudest).

You still can't change the fact that he did invent the original backbiters tho.

Don't mind the competition at all .
All I am doing is trying to carry on from Steve's hard work with his back biter .
If ppl want eddies or fen tigers they have a choice . As long as there is good quality bite indication available . And less pike get deep hooked the better.
