pair of proper pussies

Post by suffolk si » Sat Jul 07 2018 09:48

Cracked it at last..been after a" proper" cat for a couple of years now and after a few twenties and thirties I finally got one over my target weight, both me and my fishing partner had a mid forty each yesterday which i know isn't huge by national standards but we were both happy with these two.mine was very long and lean and I thought would maybe hit fifty but can't be disappointed with a near ninety pound brace😊 great scraps from both of them too.anybody else been out after them this summer?

Like you Si I’m after a 50 plus.
The water I’ve been fishing has them but it’s still my bogey water .
But seriously ,I’m so glad one of us has had some luck.
Cheers
Tom

Bet that was a good scrap Dave? the lake I fish has a couple of high fifties in so one of them would be nice, cats are an enjoyable diversion whilst conditions are like this imo👍

I couldn't agree more Si. I have next to no time to myself presently and have fished just 3 times since I hung up the Pike rods back in March.

This balmy weather, a few cans of cider (I've just discovered Strongbow Dark Fruits) and the chance of a heavyweight pulling back.

(Is almost irresistible though face)
