Lob worm cut in half and hooked on with the freshly cut juicy ends on the hook.
Out fished full lob worms every time.
Born to fish but forced to work

Free roaming small live bait is my favourite method. All my perch over 3lb have been on this method.

Small inline spinner any day of the week if you just want to catch them in numbers. I can think of a gravel pit I fished where you'd literally get them on every cast in some areas. Definitely light spinning will catch you perch a plenty. Drop shot also very effective.

Lobs, well yeah, but you get pestered by silver things too much for my liking... but if bigger fish are your target, small lives are easily the go-to option. Whilst my three biggest perch have been caught on lures intended for pike, almost of my biggest perch were caught using small roach or dace on a float paternoster. Ah, nothing beats a big perch, awesome looking fish

Mepps or Vibrax spinners have caught me the most perch, closely followed by the hopper bugs which AGM sell.

Get on the float fished slightly over depth with worms on a spiked hair rig Kebab style, loads of lovely juices.
