I might get one shortly as bycatch. As long as they're not <1lb I don't mind too much. 4lb+ and I'd be happy to see them

Caught several of the bloody things this year to over 3lb whilst piking, they love a chunk of mackerel!

Mine were all back end of season steve,from mid February on, they wake up on my syndicate lake and are a pain

Had a 4lb eel this morning on double dendra while fishing the lift method for tench.

Had first session of the year on sunday, only bait we had was spam, mate had one Eel of about 3lb but all I caught was bream & big hybrids.
