So you had day with a fly rod or were you just testing?
Im probably going to give it a go today, fly or bait I haven't yet decided, but I will definitely be swishing or ploping a line in somewhere.

Sorry I thought you'd been fly fishing.
Ive used tiny jigs extensivly but following several losses when rings stretched I ditched rings going straight to the lure wire.
Beware elephants really do eat peanuts, while jigging in the salt Ive had numerous +20kg on a 6cm jig, some fish even managing to bend the lure.
Because of failures I make all my own assists from hollow Spectra which can be combed-out to produce the tassle.
