Canal zander

Post by JasonR »

I was just looking up about zander on canals. I have caught a few but one thing i didn’t realise - it is illegal to return canal zander once caught! I will still return them though.

Yeah, don't worry about it, just put it back.
I put one back in front of a bailiff once, he moaned but shut up when pointed out I'd paid for my ticket so what difference did it make to him?

Put them back mate, Christ I'd suggest that eating something out of the Coventry Canal probably presents more of a health issue than that we currently face. :laughs: :laughs: :laughs:

The Lure Anglers Canal Club is an ace bunch of passionate predator anglers who run a lot of Canal water now, their rules (agreed with CRT) are put em back.
