Excellent.
I'd like to know how he keeps the eels so placid though!

That was excellent. Well crafted and he spoke with passion for the eel and its conservation.

Great video - I searched it out after reading his excellent article in catch cult this month. Excellently written and well worth a read, puts my blanks into perspective when you're fishing for 3-4 bites in a season!

I have no interest at all in catching eels, but that was just a beautifully made video. Seriously enjoyed it.

It’s a thing that was rumoured to be used years ago .
I no longer eel fish as I believe that’s best for their conservation above any rig or method or handling procedures.
I think you misunderstood

Likewise the best fishing book which I have read for some years was the Barry Mcconell (spelling) eel fishing book.I have no interest at all in catching eels, but that was just a beautifully made video. Seriously enjoyed it.
There’s just something about eels, and eel anglers!

It's good to listen to someone who really enjoys his fishing and cares about the fish he's catching. Good video.

Re: A little drennan eel video.
Great video.
I have a small stream next to my house, a good way I see them is at night with a powerful torch. They’ll mostly be sat still with half their body out from some sort of burrow amongst tree roots. They slowly back into their hide away after being spotted.
Fascinates me how they’ll get into some of the places they do. I used to be allowed to fish a small pond as a kid and it had big eels in there. Was literally in someone’s back garden.

Steve came and did a talk and video show at the MK Specialist Group do, was really interesting, I believe he is on the lookout for spools of Kryston TonUp.
