Really enjoyed that
Some people believe football is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed with that attitude. I can assure you it is much, much more important than that. YNWA

If ever there was a book screaming to be printed then Hammy's name would be in the mix.

Thanks chaps appreciate the kind words. It's an old story and I think one or two may have read it before but I thought it might help pad the Pool out until Jason gets some more stuff.

Very very good writing that Chris and what a funny bit involving the brick, he waited for the carp to stop and "then" threw it :laughs: just as a kid would, its the same as casting a lead to a marker float, you must remember not to look directly at the float but just to the side or you'll hit it and end up winding both back in :red:
Well done again

Cheers Alan

As good and descriptive a piece of work as any I have read before though of course you kinda know the impending outcome.
(Perhaps, what you should have done is have the angler lose the fish at the net just like his Dad before him and say 'feck it', sling his rod in the lake and go home and kick the cat - joking)
