Well in John.At least you and others are trying to make a difference and things will improve because of it.Different areas have different problems but as long as we have PAAS or PAC or other groups and individuals who do rather than talk we will be ok .

Sounds like a battlefield up there John. Rather you than me. Nice to hear you're trying to bring about changes though. Good luck with it in the future.

Yet another nicely penned piece for the Pool too. Thanks for finding the time to entertain us.

I hope you won't mind but I've only just got around to reading all of the last three articles on the Pike Pool and I'd like also to say David V's piece was another excellently written article and supported by some fab pictures. You certainly put the effort in David. And I'm really pleased to hear you've found a new job. That must have been a worry in these unstable economic times.

And Rob S's write up? If modern angling writing gets any better than that I'm buggered if I know where to read it. Just superb! Absolutely loved that Rob! Fantastic prose and some genuinely thought provoking comment. Another coup for the Pool (Which I'm immensely proud to have been involved in.) and further proof if any were needed that Jason has taken the role of editor to an all time high.

Keep em coming chaps. We're really on to something here.

Just noticed one of those pics is Nicolas Valentin's. I've no idea who he is but he made me one of his contacts a while back on Flickr.

Guys only there to collect the dollars Andrew and Makpike, fed up asking him to tighten up on the nods but like the auld codger at the other water is all money, fished the trossachs water hard for a lot of years, remember the good days, how the heck its still producing fish is beyond me, pike reslliance is greater than I thought but they cant go on forever.

Still believe a drink ban is whats required as when these tossers are reported , bye the time the police arrive they are to drunk to drive and are left until the next day, during which time half a dozen or so rods are left out all night unattended.

Only problem with that far as I see is we all know it happens on there regular as clock work. So will there star witness be the guys who littered that swim the week before or the week after they were charged? Then nothing was done because they were willing to pay the money to fish and f**k up however they liked! You can't impose something like no littering the loch shores only if your face doesn't fit :laughs: Has to be across the board but that will affect the ticket money sales because that's 90% of them now, so he picks their litter up but for some reason the charged guys did something wrong :stir:
