Pike Pool (104) - Chris Donovan

Post by Jason Skilton »

So we have another installment from the pool.

This time Chris Donovan is taking about a particular problem that might be uncomforatable reading for some of you old pikers!

Brilliant...But no photo's mean it didn't happen..
My opinion may offend, but it's only an opinion that may differ to your's.
It doesn't make me wrong.

Very good!

Hidden within that humour is an age old truth. It's people that matter not fish.

That's why I can never understand the hoots of derision whenever someone puts up a picture and some sad sod sets out to identify the stand of reeds in the background in order to utter the legendary words, "I know that swim". Or someone whines because somebody else wants to discuss the history of a major waterway. Or the oft repeated mantra is trotted out, "Joe Bloggs has caught a million twenties" but wont ever divulge the stats.

Give me decent people over numbers every time!

Good read Chris. Thankyou.
I don't care who your dad is , you're not walking across the river when I'm fishing!

Thanks for that chaps.
ChrisH,
My next contribution you will like as well. It concerns people as well only the ones from very small area called Newport.
Have some good photos as well.
Watch this space.
