Not a big water fisherman or indeed a big Pike angler, happy to catch what comes my way. I enjoyed that Chris nice one. :wink:

It is good to get some feed back which doesn`t always happen when an article is printed in a magazine and it is appreciated.

You know the story about my long lost love of my red coat but some might not when I went to get it out of the garage the ferking arm fell off it. It was the end of a love match which will never be repeated.

Anyone thinking of tackling Irelands big waters for the first time, read and digest Chris,s article. I was lucky enough to read this stuff by Chris when i first came over too Ireland decades ago, it put me on the right path, still as good now as it was then! :thumbs:

Monts, get yourself over to Ireland at least once in your lifetime mate, should be on every pike anglers bucket list! :thumbs:

Great article Chris, and of course bang on the money. It's amazing how much of the loughs can be completley barren, and conversely tiny areas are absoulutely stuffed with what seems to be every fish within 10 miles. Good stuff.

Thanks I enjoyed that, pike lay up and move for a reason, we just need to join the dots and fish smart.

Thanks everyone for commenting and I was exceptionally pleased to hear comments from outside of the UK.
It just shows how a theory which was first envisaged in a small lake in Wales can be transformed to other Countries from Ireland to Denmark.
It just goes to show that no matter where you fish for pike they all undertake "learnt behaviour" based on experiences gained.
