Great write up Rob, I have a perfect cellar full of gear that needs a good sort out, it has given me a bit of nudge to get it sorted Image

Another top read.

I'm still in the messy s**t hole of a shed, but I'm just in the process of converted the loft, so I can move a lot of the new gear I'm writing reviews for, up there.

I am also going to add a table for rig making etc.... so maybe, just maybe, I'm on the way to becoming organised....

Have to say that you don't come across as antisocial Rob...

Great article Rob very inspirational.Funny that you've written about being organised, before going Pike fishing, my mates are always going on about how I very rarely leave anything at home. Loading the van the night before is a must for me also a list on the side reminding me to get baits/food from the fridge /freezer 3or4 in the morning is not the time to remember what you need for the fishing trip.

My garage is coming down this summer, to make way for a house extension, and a new fishing room is being built to the back of the garden along with a new 'water feature', complete with a filtration system, something to look at whilst tinkering with my tackle from the new building.

Love the garage Rob....

I have two sheds in the garden, and I can't get in either of them.

Every summer they get a spring clean...

Within a month I can't get in them again.Image

Thanks guys,

had this one written for a while now, thought id put it up at the start of the close season for many of us when we all have a tidy up. Im still always loosing or breaking stuff Malc as Billy would tell ya, left a landing net behind this winter and snapped two of Lumbys rods in the boat, on Sunday i left my mobile phone charging up on a kitchen table in Ireland.

Got some great stuff going up in the next few weeks from Simon F, Ross W and Danny T to name just three. Tiss all good.

Yes i have forgotten the camera by leaving it in another kit bag three or four times. Only once did i have to sack a fish and go home and get it. One opening day of the season, with Steve i think, we were going on a sneeky barbel kayak trip, got there silly o'clock and i'd left my barbel rod at home !. Ive lots of forgetting stuff moments of suffering, less of them now ive done my garage.

Ain't that the truth, always leaving something behind. On the last day he knocked the top of a P5 in the pitch black whilst motoring up Sabrina.... (5 minutes later we were lucky to find it floating face Image Image Image Image )

Thing is, with all this organisation you still hit the bank looking like a tramp. You ain't anti social, it's just no c#nt want to talk to ya

Super read Rob. I built a twin carport. Inge calls it the boat-port as it has a no cars policy - just 2 boats. I have a dedicated fishing room, which apart from a couple of guitars and 500 vinyls, it's only my gear. Off there now to rebuild an Aerlex strip job. Closed season joys... Image
