'Cyclops' Carp!

Post by John Milford » Tue Jun 12 2018 21:06

Never caught one like this before!

I thought something was a bit odd as I netted it - then I realised it only had one eye! There is a slight depression where the eye should be, but I don't think it lost it, rather it never formed?

Took a floater well enough, so the vision in its one eye must have been OK?
