Do you think this is OK and not too heavy ?
200 yards of 6 pound nylon ?
Obviously I would back it up first so probably 130 yards of 6 to fill it up ?
Just seems a bit more powerful for the possible bigger fish on the bottom than a smaller general fixed spool, especially for tench , carp and chub on the river in the winter

Personally, I prefer a 4000 reel with a low gear ratio for feeder work, especially when after carp or I'm chub and barbel fishing on rivers.
The extra cranking power makes retrieving feeders much easier.
