Yes that takes me back. I contributed two articles to that site but am a bit disappointed to see being 'credited' with penning "Last cast and fishing fashions". Which I didn't. Just shows don't believe all you read on the web.

Yes, I used to collect those old Tight Lines booklets, was the Abu big honcho called Tony something? I was envious of his life, Cardinal 57 reels and exotic regions, as ever they've been lost for years now.

Still got my first tight lines catalogue from 73. Good read back then.

No. He used to own Landa Lures, based in Chorley, and came into the shop I worked in in the late '80s early '90s. :wink:
