These are quite a snug fit but waterproof, lacking pockets though

The ones for the fly anglers look good. The vision and fishpond ones look very good. Not sure if there saltwater resistant though. Good selection at Glasgow angling centre

Is the first one you posted cheaper? :laughs:

Actually seen that one Alan, I've been looking for something a bit more "budget". I think my current Cortland model will do for the time being.

Thanks

Plastic zips or velcro Bri.

I've ruled out all the usual search result returns. If I really get into it, I'll stretch to the Patagonia.

There's loads of budget vests available for next to nothing, I was specifically looking for saltwater proof zips. My cortland freshwater fly vest has nylon zips with metal pullers. It'll do at a pinch.

Still have a look though, I'm open to all suggestions

First rule of sea angling clothing - the air temp will be the water temp if there is any sort of wind.

I spin the beaches here and elsewhere usually dawn and dusk and always wear a windproof fleece with underarm zip for ventilation (Wolfskin).
(Lures in a sling bag and net pole with a spike to aid walking and drying).
