Multipliers for carp

Post by Alan_dalton »

Any reason why they can't be used for margin fishing for carp?

I seem to remember ages ago a picture in the old Angling magazine a photo of someone using multipliers for carp to get max distance! This was probably in the 60's judging by the old Heron alarms. I love using a pin for them on my local waters fishing close in

I have seen 1 or 2 lads using them for Carp over the years in the North West.

I used to Catfish Telford Park Lake (Withy Pool) and one of the locals used a set up there. Bob Onion's I think he was called. Saw him take fish to high doubles on it. This was back in the 80s though.
