had some good sessions fishing for roach , but catching tench in between them to 5lb and the odd carp to 15lb on red maggots

Have been out with my eldest son the last couple of weekends and have had about 20 odd tench up to 6lbs, all on red maggots, some on feeder and some on the float.

Strange isnt it that a lot of pikers love Tench fishing too. Many of my mates immediately bring out the Tench rods after the winter pike campaign
