How a professional fillets a fish.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=IsL5acnXTNM

Dont blink its fast!

.

A bit too quick for a tutorial  but good to see. I wondered why he was putting a cut in the tail end, might try that on the cod.
So he could put it over the nail for skinning
Like I said, I might try it on the cod

I manage OK with the knife I posted a pic of but this bloke is on another level.

Still a flexi blade but with a bit more to it.... Is this the type you're on about Kev??
Great video 👍👍
Out yesterday evening.
Three fish. All off the top using a Hawthorne Fly immigration.
All filleted so now have six in the fridge. Got a couple soaking up some Sweet Chilly Sauce
My No-name flexible one did the job with no problems.
3 fish off the top 👍👍 well done

I went out today, had 3 as well. Tough going though.
The returns record stated that over the last 2 days , most anglers blanked

I did spota few big carp moving around. When I say big , one was probably an upper 20. Might be bigger.
That would be fun on a fly rod 👍👍

Never caught a carp on the fly rod.
Need some advice so will start a new thread
