Swingtipping this summer ?

Post by Taffypiker »

Anyone doing it ?

I have bought a diawa tornado 9 ft 6 .....old rod but in good nick

And a kingfisher 9 ft .....which is clearly a budget rod but I think will be fine for bits and bobs

Hoping for plenty of calm days !

I use two Daiwa 12'x1.25 Avon Specialist rods paired with Shimano 5010gt's and foot long swing tips on feeders, placed on individual bank sticks not a pod this time of year, real good fun.

Why on individual banksticks as opposed to a pod ?

Taffy I found you can recast a rod and replace it on individual rests without causing movement to the other rod swingtip as you might on a pod.
