Fly fishing on rivers.

When can you fly fish on rivers during what we would call the close season?

When you buy a typically expensive trout club membership I'd guess Al. 😁

I think you can fish right through under the premise of 'trout fishing'?
I don't care who your dad is , you're not walking across the river when I'm fishing!

The question relates to what you last wrote in that if someone were to chuck some fluff on for example the Great Ouse, can they do it in the close season even if trout are all but non existent?

I'd imagine it's finding a game fishing club that has a beat with few or no trout then Al.

It's only a guess but I would think the more coarse fishing orientated clubs will only be renting their waters from Jun 16th -Mar 14th.
