ah've got the Chub S+ day shelter and the overwrap, the shelter is very much the same as JohnE's, ah think they all quite similar in style...just build quality differs...nice n light n easy to put up...oh!, the whychwood solace defo has more headroom than the Chub S+, and if i remember right...the whychwood solace is adjustable height.

Hi Gavin,

I have mk1, used in all weathers ,really sturdy and will stand up to the worst nature can through at you. Its very light, quick to set up and plenty of room to shelter under for you and your kit.

Have just bought the overwrap for the Korum day shelter and reallyy rate it. The day shelter itself is great but the overwrap means it can be used when the weather is really bad and for quick overnighters. Top bit of kit.

Can they be easily/quickly moved when set up?Thinking of when rod hopping along a drain or river.

Also how much do they weigh? More/less than a standard 50inch brolly?

It is pretty easy to move when set up and it weighs round about the same as a 50inch brolly I would say

overwrap for the mark 2 fits the mark 1 not quite as pretty but does work.

lads is there enough room for two anglers and a bag each,i had the tfg day shelter for 4 year which could fit two anglers plus some gear, its now in the bin as the last high winds ripped it to bits and i have always liked the look and quality of the korum shelter.
