Had Dave make up a 3rd rod for me last year.

Despite not making the other 2 (ebay) and working from photos and measurements, i have to look very hard to know which is which.

Dave has just repaired my favorite rod after a major accident saw 9/10 of the top section in the bottom of a lake.

Superb service.

Excellent workmanship as always

Picked up my set of BB350's custom builds from dave on friday, fished a short session this morning and had 2 small pike, what can I say that hasn't been said, great rods and great service!I honestly cant see myself ever needing another set off pike rods for the waters I fish.Simply brilliant rods to cast with and play fish on.
Cheers Dave  :handshake:

Been using Dave's p1's now for 17 years and just had another one made and delivered. The originals i hade made back then are just as good as the day i got them (minus a bit of dirt and general snot!) and i honestly wouldn't have anyone else make rods for me (and I'm not just blowing smoke up his nether regions for a discount on future purchases!). :laughs:
Seriously, if your in the market for a custom built rod, look no further, you wont be disappointed.

I’ve been using my pair of P2’s for a little while now and they’re the best pike rod’s I’ve ever used. I can’t see me buying any replacements for them, and if I did they’d be more from the same stable! :lfc: :lfc: :lfc: :lfc: :lfc:

The wife and kids asked what I’d like for Xmas
I’d like a set of BB350 ,all contributions welcome was my answer.
Having one of Mr Lumbs rods already ( Axiom 6824 ) My main lure Rod and a joy to use .
My BB350 were ordered
Wasn’t allowed to look until Xmas Day ,didn’t get to use them until yesterday
What can I say , put a sardine on one ,Herring and perch on the others
These Rods do exactly what Dave describes them as .
With no effort at all All three baits cast to the desired distance .
Further than normal, God knows how far they’d cast if I’d compressed them during the cast .
I’d like to give some feedback on their playing action but as I’d blanked you’ll have to wait :laughs:
It’s hard to put into words ,but these rods just feel right
Thank you Mr Lumb  :handshake:
Regards
Tom

Ps please notice I haven’t mentioned the Discount word ,once :laughs:
