Had 5 free spirit pike rods 25 to 30 years , 12 ft 3lb and 12 ft 3lb 8 oz, still just as good as the day I bought them, well used , buy quality it lasts.

Yes quality does last, but jeez they can be damn heavy.

Thx I have a couple of first gen Free Spirit 12ft 3lbs and still look good but are a tad heavy. The quality lasts mantra is very true as I have a couple of reels and other odds n sods that at the time cost loads but have lasted the course.
